Our journey began in early 2023, when Franz Humer—fresh off a successful tech exit—teamed up with his wife Monika to pursue a bold new vision. What started as a spark quickly ignited. Lifelong friends and fellow entrepreneurs Michael Penetsdorfer, Michael Brandlmayr, Bernhard Fellner, Andreas Wieneroither, and Andreas Boedenauer joined the mission, bringing deep expertise and relentless determination.

From a modest garage lab near Ottnang, Austria, we built our first wind turbine prototypes, leading to three patents by year-end. 

In late 2023, novventos Clean Energy GmbH was officially born—well-funded, well-supported, and ready to scale.

In 2025, we took our first step toward global expansion with the establishment of novventos North America, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. This strategic move strengthens our ability to serve partners and customers across the U.S. and Canada, while positioning us at the heart of innovation and manufacturing excellence.
